Sell outerwear wholesale on prebook, without the spreadsheet

ModaFlow.ai is wholesale software for outerwear brands: collect prebook orders months ahead with lead times, ship windows and cancel dates on every order, and send line sheets and lookbooks your buyers can order from.

How selling outerwear wholesale works

Outerwear is sold early and shipped late. Stores commit to coats and jackets for autumn and winter months before they arrive, and those prebook orders decide how much fabric you cut. A late or uncertain order is expensive in a category where one style can carry a high price point.

Buyers care about the ship window and cancel date as much as the price. They also want the facts that sell a coat in store: the shell and lining, the fill, the country of origin and the care.

What ModaFlow.ai does for outerwear brands

  • Prebook without stock limits

Mark a style as made to order and buyers can prebook it with no stock check, with its lead time and available date shown as they order from a lookbook.

  • Ship windows and cancel dates

Every order carries a ship window and a cancel date, so the buyer's plan and your production plan agree from the start.

  • Materials and origin on the style

Keep materials, care, certifications, country of origin and HS code with each style, ready for line sheets, descriptions and customs paperwork.

  • Packs and minimums

Set a minimum per style or a size prepack such as 1-2-2-1, and enforce an order minimum for the whole collection.

  • Line sheets for planning

Export the collection with photos, colourways, sizes, wholesale price, MSRP and the date each style is available.

  • Payment terms you set

Invoice confirmed orders through Stripe on the terms you set, such as net 30, net 60 or prepaid.

Outerwear line sheet example

An outerwear line sheet should answer the questions a buyer asks before committing months ahead: when it ships, what it is made of and what it retails for. Compare formats in our line sheet examples and see how digital line sheets turn into orders.

Frequently asked questions

Can buyers prebook outerwear before it is produced?

Yes. Styles marked as made to order can be ordered without a stock check, and the order slip in a shared lookbook shows the lead time and the date the style ships.

How do ship windows and cancel dates work?

Each order has a ship window and a cancel date that the buyer and your team can see, and ModaFlow rejects a cancel date that falls before the end of the ship window.

Can I set a minimum for a whole outerwear collection?

Yes. Set a minimum in units or order value for the collection, alongside per-style minimums and packs, and ModaFlow applies the strictest one to each order.

What doesn't ModaFlow do for outerwear brands?

An order has one ship window today, so a buyer splitting coats across two delivery months places two orders, and ModaFlow does not plan production or fabric. It handles the catalog, line sheets, lookbooks, buyer portal, orders and invoices.
