Sell menswear wholesale, from tailoring to carryover basics

ModaFlow.ai is wholesale software for menswear brands: one catalog for suits, trousers, shirts and knitwear in their own size systems, line sheets and lookbooks built from it, and a portal where stores reorder your basics.

How selling menswear wholesale works

Menswear mixes size systems in one collection. Tailoring sells by chest and drop (40R, 42L), trousers by waist and inseam (32x32), shirts by collar and sleeve (15/33), and knitwear from S to XXL. A wholesale order has to carry all of them without a merchandiser rebuilding the grid each season.

Men's stores also lean on carryover. The oxford shirt and the navy chino come back every season, and buyers reorder them between market weeks. Seasonal pieces are shown at Pitti, Capsule or a showroom appointment, then confirmed against a ship window.

What ModaFlow.ai does for menswear brands

  • Any size system

Each style has its own size run with up to 60 sizes, so 40R, 32x32 and 15/33 sit side by side in one catalog.

  • Reorders for carryover styles

Stores reorder from a past order in your buyer portal; the lines come back into the cart at today's prices.

  • Stock limits when you need them

Turn on order limits for in-stock basics, and ModaFlow stops a buyer from ordering more than you have available to sell.

  • Packs and minimums

Set a minimum, a case pack or a size-ratio prepack per style, checked on every order from the portal, a lookbook or your sales team.

  • Order writing at appointments

Write orders on an iPad or phone in the showroom, with a colourway-by-size grid and support for keyboard barcode scanners.

  • Line sheets with MSRP

Export a collection line sheet with photos, colourways, sizes, wholesale price and MSRP for buyers who plan in a spreadsheet.

Menswear line sheet example

Menswear line sheets work well when every style shows its own size system, so a trouser block never pretends to be S to XL. Group carryover styles together so buyers can see what they can reorder. More formats are in our line sheet examples, and the line sheet template is free.

Frequently asked questions

Can one collection mix suit, trouser and shirt sizes?

Yes. Size runs belong to the style, not the collection, so a jacket in 38R to 46L, a trouser in waist-by-inseam sizes and a shirt in collar sizes can all sit in the same collection and the same order.

How do stores reorder carryover styles?

Signed-in buyers open a past order in your portal and choose Reorder, which copies the lines into their cart at current prices, and they can adjust quantities before submitting.

Can I stop buyers ordering more basics than I have?

Yes. With the stock limit turned on, ModaFlow checks available-to-sell stock, meaning stock on hand minus units already on submitted and confirmed orders, before it accepts an order.

What doesn't ModaFlow do for menswear?

Waist-by-inseam and chest-by-drop sizes are entered as one row of size labels rather than a two-way grid, and ModaFlow does not handle made-to-measure orders or connect to an ERP today.
