How selling handbags wholesale works

Handbag collections are deep rather than wide. One tote can come in pebbled tan, smooth black and an oxblood suede, and buyers choose colourways more than sizes. Many styles are produced in small runs after orders come in, so the order book decides what you cut.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell handbags in one size and small leather goods in sizes?

Yes. A style without a size run is one size and gets a single quantity field, while styles that need sizes, such as belts, get their own size run.

Can buyers prebook styles that aren't made yet?

Yes. Styles marked as made to order are never limited by stock, and the lead time and available date appear in the order slip of a shared lookbook.

Can I set a minimum per colourway?

Not yet. Minimums, case packs and order multiples count across all the colourways and sizes of a style; if a colourway needs its own minimum, set it up as a separate style.

What doesn't ModaFlow do for handbag brands?

Besides minimums per colourway, it does not plan production with your workshop or connect to an ERP today. It handles the catalog, line sheets, lookbooks, buyer portal, orders and invoices.
