How selling haircare wholesale works
Haircare brands sell to salons as well as stores. A salon buys litre backbar sizes for the basin and retail sizes for its shelf, and reorders both every few weeks. Many professional lines are sold only to salons, so brands check who is ordering.
Retail buyers order in cases and want to know the hair type each product is for, the ingredients and whether it is sulfate-free, vegan or cruelty-free.

You choose who orders: salons apply through your portal and you approve or decline each one after checking their details, and backbar collections can be shared only with the salons you approve.
How do retail and backbar sizes work?
List each size as its own style with its own price and case pack, and keep backbar styles in a salon-only collection that only the salons you approve can see.
How do salons reorder?
A signed-in salon opens a past order in your portal and chooses Reorder; the lines return to the cart at current prices and they can adjust quantities before submitting.
What doesn't ModaFlow do for haircare brands?
It does not verify salon licences for you, track batch numbers or expiry dates, or manage salon education and loyalty programmes.
